Services To Film are proud to support our charity partner – Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) to whom we donate 10% of all of our profits, and with whom we are partnered for our Military Internships In Film initiative.
Walking With The Wounded supports a pathway for vulnerable veterans to re-integrate back into society and sustain their independence. At the heart of this journey is employment.
WWTW recognises the inherent skills of our armed service personnel and wants to complement these qualities, as well as provide support to transfer their skills into the civilian workplace. WWTW offer assistance through programmes to those vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service and assist them in sustaining their independence through new sustainable careers outside of the military. This includes providing support to homeless veterans and veterans in the Criminal Justice System, areas which are too often ignored.
At Services To Film, we are committed to veteran employment. All of our staff are veterans, and we aim to secure temporary employment for veterans as film extras. However, we are also committed to helping veterans start a second career in the film industry after their service. Read more about our Military Interships In Film initiative.
